Target

Ever since the new round of Target advertising campaigns took hold of our psyches a few years back, the store has emerged as a force to be reckoned with. It's kind of thought of as a sophisticated department store and they actually peddle quite a few models of headphones on their site. Almost three hundred varieties to choose from, they are mainly but not entirely suited to portable music listeners. Although a select few Sony Studio Monitor and Sennheiser Noise Canceling phones were available, I couldn’t find anything by AKG and when I did a search for Ultrasone, it turned up a Hello Kitty Ultrasonic Humidifier. Interesting. At any rate, Target is probably not the place for super hi-end, but definitely good for portable phones and earbuds. There are lots of choices in this department.

Target prides itself on a great design and low prices as well as an altruistic affinity towards communities, diversity and the environment. If you enroll in their credit card program, they will donate money from purchases to educational causes. Whether it’s a marketing ploy or good intentions, at least it serves its purpose. Returns are acceptable within ninety days and they will issue a full refund to most products returned in new condition. You can contact customer service by phone or email.

For an internet department store, I was impressed with Target. Their large inventory and clean design was quite appealing.
