The Good

Site is very easy to navigate and read. Images are rather large and the supplied technical data is good. Free shipping on orders over $199.00. Good selection from Audio-Technica, AKG, Sennheiser, Ultrasone, and others. Geared towards musicians and recording professionals.

The Bad

Carries more professional products, than portable and in-ear styles. Free shipping only kicks in at $199.00. Limited number of headphone brands that work well with portable music players.

The Verdict

A reliable place to shop for DJ headphones and professional monitors. Electronics are aimed at recording professionals and musicians. Prices are heavily discounted on some models, although we'd like to see free shipping at a lower price point.

SamAsh is legendary among musicians. I bought my first bass there. While best known as one of the leading retailer of instruments, SamAsh is a good, but not stellar place to shop for headphones. The product selection is good, but it is geared more for the recording professional, musician, or individual looking for studio headphones. They do carry models from Sennheiser, Stanton, Ultrasone, Technics, Numark, Sony, and and Audio-Technica. Aside from Ultrasone, I was not overly impressed with some of the picks from the other brands. SamAsh does offer free shipping on a number of the headphone brands, so there is a value-added benefit to shopping with them. The staff does know its stuff, so do not be afraid to ask if you have a question.
