The Good

Free shipping on orders over $99. Good selection of wireless, Bluetooth, noise cancelling, and earphones. Video gamers will be in heaven. A lot of useful accessories to get everything working properly. Solid technical information.

The Bad

Everything they make is “wonderful”. $12.99 charge for a 30-minute call with the Creative Tutor Support Line after the first 60 days of free help. You are likely to leave buying a pair of headphones and something else.

The Verdict

The company that used to make only sound cards for your computer is now an electronics giant and offering many good products, including headphones. An easy place to shop online, although the charge for support help after 60 days seems ridiculous.

Creative is a leader in digital entertainment products, with a clear vision that has allowed them to revolutionize how people interact with their PCs. From their early days with the Sound Blaster sound cards, Creative has been working hard to drive digital entertainment on the PC platform. Their NOMAD Jukebox and Zen Vision portable media players have become the preferred devices for those unsatisfied with the iPod. The site is very well designed and an easy place to shop. The product descriptions are very clear and informative, if not totally objective for obvious reasons. The pricing is consistent with other retailers offering their products and with free shipping for orders over $99; there is additional incentive to shop with them.
