Powerful, clear headphones that can be used in studio or at home
The Good

I like the folding design a lot, it makes them convenient to store and take with you when traveling. I also like the way these have special shielding to keep up to 98% of the radiation away from my head. Plus, the sound from these headphones is marvelous.

The Bad

These don't have the ultra soft velvet ear pads that the 750’s. That was a bit of a disappointment and these too are made almost entirely out of plastic. I would've liked it if they felt a little tougher.

Good professional headphones that can easily be used in the studio or at home while having a beer and watching the game. The sound is accurate and clear. These are comfortable, but not as comfortable as the Ultrasone Proline 750 S-Logic headphones.

A Lot To Enjoy From The Ultrasone Proline 650 S-Logic Headphones

I like these headphones they have precise sound that is clean and clear and the comfort level is good.

The Ultrasone Proline 650 S-Logic headphones like their sister headphones the Ultrasone Proline 750 S-Logic fold for convenience. I like this aspect of these as it makes taking them with me on the road a lot simpler. I have always worried how best to pack my headphones, it can be tricky sometimes both these fold up nice and solid so I never have to worry. The earpieces fold in towards the center of the headband and this leaves nothing to snag or catch on anything when it comes time to unpack. I like it!

These are also nice and comfortable to wear. The ear pads may not be velvet like with the 750 but they are still plenty soft for hours of easy wearing in the studio. I like the way these fit around the ear, it makes them a lot more comfortable and I think it really improves the sound as well.

Speaking of sound, the Ultrasone Proline 650 S-Logic headphones have spectacular gold plated drivers that give you accurate and correct sound no matter what you are using them for. These headphones are fantastic for in the studio while you’re mixing a new track. It is times like this that quality sound is so important and times like this that you will really appreciate the Proline 650’s.

The three dimensional imaging is wonderful and hearing anything with this kind of dimension makes it instantly richer and fuller. It’s the S-Logic technology that makes this possible. When you wear these it sounds more like you’re listening to top notch speakers instead of headphones. And it’s not about the loudness of the sound but the true surround sound. S-Logic ensures that you get a much fuller precise sound by using their decentralized driver positioning to direct the sound in a much more natural manner. Sound will actually swirl around your head rather than just focus towards the eardrums. It’s really something to hear, I love it!

And I cannot talk about these surround sound headphones without mentioning the ULE technology with MU Metal shielding that they have in place to cut down on radiation. You’re going to have up to 98% less radiation to deal with than with other headphones, that’s an extraordinary difference!

I like the Ultrasone Proline 650 S-Logic headphones a lot, I think that they are wonderful for any purpose but especially good for using in the music studio.
