SendStation Systems announced on May 28th that the new iPod PocketDock AV will be available for shipping on May 31st. SendStation stated, “Our PocketDock AV is the most affordable, yet most versatile all-in-one connectivity solution for your iPod.” Apple has tested the product and officially attached to it the “Made for iPod” logo. The new iPod adapter is said to be “thumb-sized” and very compact. You’ll be able to hook your iPod up through a USB, line out audio, composite and S-Video. The SendStation PocketDock AV will add versatility to your iPod, as you’ll be able to hook up to a home stereo, sync and charge, and you’ll even have the ability to watch videos from your iPod on a television set or projector “in supreme quality,” SendStation says. The PocketDock AV comes with a USB and AV 4-in-1 cable connection, which will “drastically [reduce] the cable clutter mobile users are faced with.” The product color is black and compatible with most iPod cases.
