Sennheiser MM 550 Headphones

Newly upgraded wireless bluetooth headphones

The Sennheiser brand is well known for delivering high quality products, and the MM 550 headphones are not an exception.  Consumers are looking for high quality headphones that can be used for a variety of purposes, and these fit the bill to a tee.  The Sennheiser company has prided themselves on improving this product based on the customer reviews on the previous model, the MM 450.  Some of the complaints about the 450 were changed on the Sennheiser MM 550 headphones to make them a more improved model!

Like the MM 450 models, the MM 550 is an over the ear design.  Sennheiser did change the size of the over the ear cup so that the headphones were less bulky, but users have commented that they are extremely comfortable to wear, even for those people who might have a need for wider headphones.  Wearing them for extensive periods of time is no problem!    Having this over the ear design allows the headphones to block out a good amount of outside noise even without turning on the Noise Cancellation option.  However, if needed, the MM 550 headphones do come with NoiseGard 2.0 noise-canceling technology, which does reduce the sound up to 90%.  The headphones also come with an improved carrying case which does fit all of the included components in one convenient location, which is a definite improvement from the nylon bag that was included in the previous model.

So is the quality of these new and improved headphones the same as the MM 450? Most definitely.  While some users do comment that the volume leaves some to be desired because it does not go high enough, there are settings that can be changed within the headphones as well as the devices that you are listening to that will allow for a higher volume.  While the battery still seems to be an issue with some users in that it does not have that long of a use life before having to be charged, this is expected with any Bluetooth headset.  The MM 550 comes with a USB cable that can be used in many locations to charge the headset if you are in an area where a wall charger outlet is not available.  It does not take long to charge the battery and then you are back to your listening again!  These headphones also come with the same TalkThrough technology that activates the external microphone with just one button.  In addition, the headphones have an invisible microphone for taking calls as well.  If you are in the market for a high quality pair of headphones, look no further.  The Sennheiser company has made a name for itself for delivering great products, and though the price might be high, you will not be sorry that you bought this great product!
