Master the vocal track with ease
By far one of the best in its class for vocal mixing and recording, utilizing a 5-step process to not only transcribe clear and errorless audio, but to keep that quality going for many years down the road. A floating stand means the base and sensitive pickup-area are free from vibrations or other undetected disturbances, allowing full range of audio reception with minimal interference. Even nasty distortions caused by lower frequencies are removed through is pickup process, meaning each word and phrase can be heard as clearly as the last.

Results can vary with non-vocal performances such as instruments or other nonstandard methods. Mic and shock stand, while effectively durable, can still be sensitive to sudden movements or dropping.

Audio Technica at4033a User Review
As a professional singer, mic choice is by far one of the most imperative and important aspects of being “adequately equipped” for my career, especially when the balls in my own court – I don’t always have the opportunity to take myself to an actual studio when it comes time to update my vocal resume or toss out a new experimental song, and so even at home it’s a point of interest to seek out a product that will allow me to keep that studio quality while in the comfort of my workstation chair.
Naturally, this leads to quite a bit of online research and comparison, and eventually I was introduced to this microphone, the audio technical at4033a. I was a little disheartened at first to hear that it wasn’t really regarded for its quality with instrumentals, as I’d also been trying to help a friend of mine locate a replacement mic for his upcoming guitar album, but the stellar performance with man-made sounds flew right up my alley. I bought it alongside the appropriate pop filters and other optional but extremely helpful additions, and within days I’d wondered if I’d really need that studio time after all.
Though I wouldn’t recommend this microphone to those who are just starting out in this or similar fields, opting instead for a cheaper microphone that still allows a good amount of recording finesse as they continue to work on their ability and familiarity with the mic in general, the Audio Technica at4033a is undoubtedly a mic of choice for those who are well into the process of using their vocal instruments to help rocket their performance up to a professional level, one that I can foresee myself continuing to use for a good deal of time to come.
